Harvest Me, Harvest Me Not
It's your first day working as Death, equipped with nothing but a scythe and a very unhelpful cat. You will travel through time and space to visit three dying humans and decide whether it's time to harvest their souls...
Point-and-click filled with dialogues that change the course of the game! With 8 different endings and many variations in between, you better pay attention to unlock them all...
(also there's no save function YET so your achievements will be lost on replay :C ).
Made for LudumDare 52 using GameMaker by tired parents of a toddler who had to do great acrobatics to finish the game this weekend. Because of extra time constraints, we opted out of audio category, not to mention the painful lack of Lucas Arts-like animations. Maybe one day!

so cute!! the first one made me feel sentimental but I loved the ending! will play a few more times to discover the rest of the endings
The writing and humor is exactly my kind of style, its a silly witty kind of game and I'm impressed you where able to squeeze so many endings into the game in such a short amount of time
Nice game! It made me curious about all endings.
I'd like to vote in Ludum Dare page, too. What is the link of its page, I couldn't find?
This was really fantastic! I had a lot of fun playing through it, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the other endings might be. I loved that there were hints of what was going on with each of the people and yet it wasn't fully obvious what the right decision was (if there even IS such a thing as a right decision).
VERY well done! Even the toddler couldn't hold you back 🤣

I don't understand, it seems like which of the top two endings you get is based off of what you do with the pilot, and the other six are unattainable??
Hard tellin...those are the only two I've gotten. I did notice that the pilot can still be dead after saving the jacker if you don't ask him about the computer, so I tried a few different random combos of things to talk about but did not find other endings. By no means did I try everything, so maybe I'm just missing it. Also, one thing does change based on earlier killings: If you let the xenophobe declare war on cthulhu, the description of the invasion will be different depending on whether you killed the farmer and the jacker
